Abnormal load

1) A load which cannot, without undue expense or risk of damage, be divided in two or more loads for the purpose of carriage by road and which by virtue of its size and weight cannot be carried on a normal road vehicle under the provisions of the C&U regulations. Such loads are normally carried on ‘Special Types’ vehicles under the provisions of the Special Types General Order.
