CB

1) (1) Citizen’s band radio. Mobile radio system used in vehicles to allow communication between vehicles and with base stations. Less efficient for business use than private mobile radio and cellular telephone systems because of undisciplined use by CB enthusiasts.

A CB licence (obtainable from Post Offices) is required to operate such radios. (2) Container base, where containers are assembled prior to or following shipment.
