1) Speed violation detection deterrent. A new system for detecting speeding drivers with sensors (cameras) up to a mile apart which track every vehicle passing, registering its number plate and the time, and calculating how fast the vehicle has been travelling between the cameras.

The camera sends a digital signal direct to a computer centre where the vehicle owner's details are checked immediately and a fine issued to those exceeding the limit.
