Beacons (ie rotating (flashing) lamps)
1) Defined in RVLR 1989 as ‘Warning beacon - a lamp that is capable of emitting a flashing or rotating beam of light throughout 360 degrees in the horizontal plane’. Usually roof mounted on vehicles carrying wide or abnormal loads, breakdown vehicles, gulley emptiers, etc.
