Consignment note

1) Document used in transport/delivery operations. Indicates to driver what to deliver and to whom, plus other relevant details to identify goods and any special delivery instructions.

Usually in multipart sets to enable copies to be left at collection and delivery points as advice notes and for consignee to sign in confirmation of receipt (ie this becomes carrier’s proof of delivery - POD).
