In the transport context, broadly, electronic systems for controlling and monitoring vehicle operations via cellular and satellite communication technologies. (2) Technology applied to road traffic and road vehicles. Computing and telecommunications systems established to promote the development and implementation of more efficient and safer transport (eg as in vehicle-to-base communication).
