Mobile engineering plant 1) Defined in law as movable plant or equipment being a vehicle/trailer specially designed and constructed for engineering operations, which cannot comply with all aspects of C&U regulations and which carries no load other than its own parts and equipment - also includes mobile cranes (see above) which do not comply with the regulations. May be generally described as motor vehicle/trailer which is movable plant or equipment specially designed and constructed for engineering operations and which cannot comply with the regulations.
