Lloyd's Register

1) Annually published list of ships (by class). Also 'Lloyd's List' (daily shipping news). Both by Lloyds, incorporated society of underwriters based in City of London (established by Edward Lloyd 1688) - home of famous Lutine bell rung only when overdue ship arrives or one is lost.
