1) Heavy vehicle with cement mixer unit (ie drum) mounted on chassis. Capable of continuing mixing process while travelling.

Trombone trailer

1) Semi-trailer designed to be capable of extension (as with trombone) for carrying exceptionally long loads (pipes/girders/steel strip, etc).

TRL

1) Transport Research Laboratory. Formerly the Government's Transport and Road Research Laboratory (TRRL) at Crowthorne, Berks. Now an independent, internationally recognized research establishment with, among other facilities, a test track for heavy vehicle testing.

1) Vehicle transporter with three decks - often seen as car transporter or for carrying sheep.

Triangular rear reflectors

1) Only to be fitted on rear of trailers -prohibited by law on other vehicles.

TREMCARD

1) Transport emergency card. Card (usually laminated) from CEFIC which carries details of dangerous substance, the emergency action to be taken in event of spillage, etc and intended to be carried by drivers/ on vehicles carrying such.
